Probably the best value fine dining experience in the whole of Northern Ireland. At £30 for 3 courses with it's lunch and early evening menu, there is no skimping on getting bang for your buck!
My only criticism would be that I always treat myself to a hors d'oeuvre and, whilst the menu gets changed the hors d'oeuvre don't!
We had Sunday Lunch here and it was nothing short of sublime. In every respect a truly delightful dining experience. The food was beautifully prepared and the presentation executed to a very high standard.
The portions are perfect, striking that balance between culinary excellence and high end dining with the need to be sated.
What makes this establishment 5 star for me is the service. A member of staff named Fiona mainly attended to or needs. She was mindful of our needs without being overbearing and easily chatted away at appropriate moments in a warm, friendly and genuine way.
For 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 9, 3 courses, drinks and amazing Latte's came to £120. We will be back soon!
We had an absolutely delicious lunch today. The food was prepared to perfection. The team looking after front of house were so friendly and helpful.
We are looking forward to a return visit in a couple of weeks. I know where my birthday lunch is going to be.
Great menu choice, and superb people and personalities serving.
A few issues along the way though, white wine 2nd bottle not put in a cooler, had to ask twice before it got chilled, the portions of veg for 4 looked the same size as if for 2 people ?
The overall speed of service was exceptionally slow, we sat down at approx. 14.35 without a break, we finished eating at 17.20, so almost 3 hours for 3 courses, with wine.
Will think twice before returning, especially at this price point and expectation.
As I said at the beginning, it's the great people that make this place.
NEWSFLASH! Wine and Brine is still the best restaurant in NI by a country mile. I've been about 10 times now and it still impresses me every time.
When you start your meal with a simple request for bread and you get the most delicious flavoursome bread I’ve tasted in a long time ,including a brioche bun oozing with a cheese sauce filling … you just know your in for a stellar meal . Stunning food ,fresh and cooked to perfection . A great restaurant that we shall certainly revisit again . Hats off to to a great team !
Excellent food , service & atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant, highly recommend.
One of our favourite restaurants. The food is outstanding and the staff are always very welcoming and most helpful. I would totally recommend this restaurant
